The white DDJ-SX Serato Software DJ Controller from Pioneer is designed to work directly with the software's user interface. Additionally, the hardware element has been optimized with larger jog wheels, plentiful connectivity and versatile 4-channel mixing.

The DDJ-SX's ergonomic design features 8 performance pads on each scratch deck with Hot Cue, Roll, Slicer and Sampler functions. The large jog wheels can be Dual Deck enabled at the push of a button, allowing two tracks to be controlled, scratched and hot cued at once.

The center panel of the DDJ-SX is a 4-channel mixer with a built-in soundcard, low-jitter clock and high-performance digital-to-analog converter. Each channel features trim, FX, 3-band EQ/rotary kills, a two-way filter and level fader. Connectivity for mics, turntables, CD players and other external audio sources is provided on the rear panel. Miller from NOT A DJ AND I LOVE IT I asked for this thing for Christmas just to have a hobby and I never ever thought of being a DJ. I started playing with this thing reading the manual and learning the features and all I can say is wow. After a few days I can make mixes and remix songs like a super producer. Any DJ on a traditional set up should upgrade to this set up.

Ddj Sx Driver For Windows

It connects to my MacBook Pro, Serato DJ is free with some free effects and in minutes you'll be buying music just to fill the library like I done. I enjoy it and it's really easy to use. Rated 5 out of 5 by AJ from Best Well Rounded DJ Controller Today Overall, this controller is exceptionally integrated with the Serato DJ system.

Pioneer

The plug and play feature meshes well for consumers who are just beginning to DJ, to veteran DJs who have been spinning for years. This controller has a bit of a learning curve, but that is natural for any kind of new DJ equipment. Outputs are plenty, sound quality is top notch and versatility is just fantastic. If you have turntables or CDJs, you can connect them to the DDJ-SX as it is also a 4-channel mixer.

The DDJ-SX almost acts as a Pioneer DJM-850/900/950 mixer, without the effects and added extra features. Nonetheless, this controller is a great controller, and stand-alone mixer. I definitely recommend it to professional and more experienced DJs, but that does not mean a beginner cannot learn on it. It is just that this type of rig, at it's price is definitely top of the line as far as features, build and overall quality, consumers who have never DJ'ed before may feel flustered, but regardless, if you have the money, and WANT to learn how to DJ, this is a great choice for the aspiring DJ as well. Rated 3 out of 5 by VibeAeon from DDJ-SX not for serious DJ's Hi,I bought this hoping to replace my CDJs and have a i7 quad core 2.8ghz laptop with 16GB of ram.

I tried it out and found the platter unresponse to scratching, cheap build quality on all faders, hard to replace parts in the chassis via online pictures, pads that sometimes don't respond, and overall poor sound quality. I would not recommend this product to a professional DJ. The DDJ-SZ is coming out soon, and I will try this as maybe it will be compareable to CDJ 2000's.
