I updated Windows today and since it completed my sound is not working correctly. I always have my speakers and headphones plugged in, and just swap the output devices as needed. But for some reason I can't do that any more, all sound is always going through the headphones and I don't have the option to change it. It's only showing up as one device being plugged in, which oddly is always the speakers. If I unplug the headphones the speakers work fine, and are labelled as Speakers in the Audio settings. When I plug the headphones in it recognises a new device has been plugged in, recognises them as headphones, but for some reason doesn't actually adda new audio device to the list. Then for some reason even though all settings are still listed as Speakers for the output everything starts playing through the headphones.

How do I force the audio settings to recognise the headphones as a separate device? I use Windows Livemail as a frontend to my Sky email account - have done for years - as a result I have lots of folders with valuable (to me) files in them. Last weekend I had to do a reset of my Windows 10 desktop pc so had to re-install all my programs. All has gone well apart from Livemail which won't let me back in. I'd happily move away from Livemail to Outlook but I want to take my folders with me.

Without being able to sign in to Livemail, it seems I cannot access my folders to move them to Outlook. The real problem is: why can I no longer access my Livemail account? The server is pop.tools.sky.com and the user id is my email address. That and my password allow me to see my mails on Sky webmail and on Outlook but not on Livemail. Please can you help? Your help just above, says that if the ICONS are not VISIBLE, to click on the PAPERCLIP ICON, but there is NO such ICON visible anywhere within this Skype app installed onto my MacBook Pro notebook computer. I have spent the last 4 hours online, reading forums, posts, plus over and over doing Skype 'HELP' searches, but there is NO such topic anywhere, such as I have described here. What the heck are your help files saying, if it does not apply to Skype for Mac OS, eh? Besides, how to DO those things which the 6 ICONS say they are for, if they are not anywhere to be found. AND NO PAPERCLIP ICON, to make them appear.

I am using Office 2016 for Mac running on High Sierra. I have been working on a poster that contains a few graphs which I have inserted from excel. Since I inserted or edited the data on the graphs, I can't no longer open the file. It gives me the message PowerPoint found a problem with content and they only option is to repair it. When I do so, it gives this other message: PowerPoint couldn't read some content in aLIVE Poster v14-05 - Repaired and removed it Please check your presentation to see if the rest of it looks ok.
